The archaeological explorations at Phoenix have been conducting under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Phoenix Archaeological Project has been generously supporting by a wide range of institutions and sponsors as Muğla Governorate YIKOB, Marmaris Commerce Chamber, Marmaris Rotary Club, Kapelion, Mide Lobisi Association and Kapurcuk. 

PAP is developing social responsibility and education projects with the local associations to have a sustainable future in the Bozburun region.

PAP collaborates with colleagues from various institutions, such as the University of Pennsylvania, Ausonius Institute, Heidelberg University, Hellenic College Mary Jaharis and Bahcesehir University.

We thank the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, the General Directorate for Cultural Heritage, and the Museums for official permission and support.

Phoenix Archaeological Project will continue to investigate and advocate the heritage at the heart of the Carian Chersonese with their generous support.
